THE CLOCK IS TICKING

725 days and counting, down that is, until President Bush leaves office. If you're inclined to keep that count daily for the next 700-odd days, the Pitkin County Dry Goods store in Aspen has a pocket-sized digital clock that does the job.

LOVE, LOVELAND

The U.S. Postal Service in Loveland will kick off this year's Valentine Re-Mailing Program on Feb. 1. You can send a card to your sweetheart from the "City of Love."

This year many of those valentine cards and letters will come with the new "With Love & Kisses" stamp.

To have valentines remailed with the Loveland postmark, enclose your pre-stamped, pre-addressed envelopes and mail in a large stamped envelope to: Postmaster, Valentine Re-mailing, Loveland, CO 80538-9998.

Deadlines to Loveland:

Feb. 3: Valentines destined for outside the U.S.

Feb. 9: For inside the U.S. but outside Colorado.

Feb. 12: For inside Colorado.

Also look for valentine remailing boxes at King Soopers and City Market stores, at various Loveland locations, and at both Loveland post offices.
