Gregory Brannon, M.D.
For over 20 years, Dr. Gregory J. Brannon, MD FACOG has been an advocate of preventative medicine utilizing proper nutrition and exercise at his successful practice located in Cary, NC. Dr. Brannon is a board certified Obstetrician/ Gynecologist who is dedicated and committed to providing excellent patient care. This unique style of the practice allows the opportunity to get to know each patient personally. Over the last several years, Dr. Brannon has advanced his expertise to include bioidentical hormone replacement and medically supervised weightloss. He stresses that the power to improve your health and change your life is within YOU. Most disease come from a lack of education on proper nutrition, exercise, supplements, and bioidentical hormone replacement. Dr. Brannon received his BS from the University of Southern California, studied Medicine at the University of Health & Science Chicago Medical School, then completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Southern California Women’s Hospital in Los Angeles. Upon completion of residency, Dr. Brannon joined the UNC School of Medicine as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology working at Wake AHEC. Dr. Brannon is married with seven beautiful children.
Jonathan Kulbersh, M.D.
Dr. Jonathan Kulbersh is a leading expert in plastic and reconstructive facial surgery. After training in the most competitive facial plastic surgery market in the world, Beverly Hills, Dr. Kulbersh has returned to his home in the Carolinas, bringing with him innovative skills and techniques. Board-certified in Otolaryngology/head and neck surgery and fellowship-trained in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, Dr. Kulbersh is solely focused on the treatment of the face and neck.
Dr. Kulbersh received his training under two of the most prominent facial plastic surgeons in Beverly Hills: Dr. Paul Nassif, as seen onThe Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and Dr. Babak Azizzadeh, who is also internationally known and recognized. Dr. Kulbersh prides himself on his multidisciplinary training, as he received training with the best dermatologists, skin cancer reconstruction surgeons, plastic surgeons, and eye surgeons in Beverly Hills.
Dr. Kulbersh obtains natural-looking results for the aging face. He specializes in surgical procedures, Botox, fillers, and medical grade skin care.
Marisa Galavotti, PA-C
Marisa received her bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Ithaca College in NY and a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Methodist University in Fayetteville, NC.
As a former collegiate swimmer, Marisa has had a longtime interest in exercise and nutrition and enjoys teaching people the benefits of healthy living. A wife and mother, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and, of course, swimming. She looks forward to getting to know patients and helping them reach their goals.
Rita Langworth, PA-C
Rita Langworth brings more than 20 years’ experience in inpatient and outpatient care, working in surgical specialties, internal medicine, and urgent care to A New You Medical Wellness Clinics®. Langworth received her bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Geneseo and is a graduate of the Cornell University Medical College Surgical Physician Assistant Program in New York.
A native New Yorker, she has an adventurous spirit and enjoys spending time with friends and family. A fitness and holistic wellness enthusiast for many years, she is excited to have recently fulfilled a longtime dream of relocating to North Carolina.
Alissa Carter, NP-BC
Alissa attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte on full academic scholarship to complete her bachelors of science in nursing. She practiced as a nurse with experience in facial plastics prior to returning to graduate school to become a nurse practitioner. She graduated summa cum laude from Vanderbilt University with her MSN specializing in cardiology. Prior to coming to joining Medi-Weightloss Clinics® and A New You Medical wellness Solutions, she worked in a neurosurgical practice that specialized in therapeutic and cosmetic uses of Botox®.
Alissa is a native to North Carolina and grew up in cheerleading and dance. She continues to enjoy physical activity and has a passion for preventative cardiology. Alissa continues to expand her clinical expertise in anti-aging, aesthetics and medical wellness solutions. She looks forward to enhancing the natural beauty of her patients and helping her patients achieve their overall wellness goals.
Emily Wheeler, PA-C
Emily received a B.S. degree in biology from Penn State University and did graduate research in chemical ecology at Texas Tech before making the transition to medicine. She graduated with honors from the Medical University of South Carolina with a Master’s of Physician Assistant Studies in 2007.
As an advocate for primary care, Emily has always enjoyed taking the holistic approach to medicine – focusing on treating the entire person, and not just their “illness”. She started working with bioidentical hormone replacement therapy during her medical training and was originally instructed to perform SottoPelle insertions in 2008. “There is nothing more important to me than bonding with the patients I treat. It is the “happily ever after” part of medicine that I love, and gaining the rapport that comes with seeing folks through the transitions that ultimately lead them to a better quality of life.”

Danny Shaban, M.D.
Dr. Danny Shaban was born and raised in Virginia. He is a board certified OB/GYN and the founder of Dominion Women’s Health. He is also a member of the Board of Bariatric Physicians.
He strives to provide his patients with safe and healthy options to achieve overall wellness while learning the habits needed to maintain a healthy lifestyle. In his free time Dr Shaban enjoys traveling, golfing, and spending time with his wife and his three young children.
Thomas Mead, M.D.
Dr. Thomas Mead grew up near Buffalo, New York and attended The State University of New York at Buffalo for medical school. He moved to Richmond in 2003. He is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. While in college in Albany, New York, he competed in the pole vault and the decathlon.
He learned the importance of exercise and conditioning as well as a healthy diet. In medical school he participated in the “Heart Smart” program, teaching school children the importance of eating healthy and maintaining an active lifestyle to prevent heart disease.In his OB/GYN practice, Dr. Mead stresses the importance of weight control throughout a woman’s life, from adolescence to adulthood and pregnancy, and into menopause. At Medi-Weightloss Clinics® he is able to help both men and women accomplish this goal.
Nicole Bentivegna, WHNP-BC
Nicole received her Master’s Degree in nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University and is a board certified women’s health nurse practitioner. She joins the clinic with experience in obstetrics and gynecology as well as general medical care for women of all ages.
Her special interests in healthy living and exercise, Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) and medical aesthetics are what brought Nicole to seek her new role with A New You Wellness Clinics®. Nicole enjoys traveling as well as spending time with her husband and two small children here in Richmond.
Patricia Bell, FNP-BC
Patricia brings 18 years of experience in Family Practice & Rheumatology to our patients. She was born & raised in Williamsburg, VA and graduated with a degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Virginia Commonwealth University. As a nurse & provider for many years, Patricia has observed first hand the direct impact of hormonal imbalances and it’s detrimental effects. Trish maintains a healthy lifestyle by teaching & participating in fitness related activities in addition to relaxing, traveling, & reading. Her interests in preventative medicine, Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) and medical aesthetics are what brought Patricia to seek her new role with A New You Wellness Clinics®.

Susan Wheatley, M.D.
A native of Columbia, Maryland, Dr. Wheatley has been a resident of Georgia since 1974. After graduating from Georgia Southern with both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Education, she obtained her MD from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. Dr. Wheatley completed her OB/GYN residency at Atlanta Medical Center (formerly Georgia Baptist). She is certified by the American Board of OB/GYN and is a Fellow in the American College of OB/GYN. Because of her strong emphasis is surgery, she is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Wheatley believes strongly in continuing medical education and belongs to the Medical Associations of Georgia and Atlanta, the Georgia and Atlanta OB/GYN Societies, and the American Association of GYN Laparoscopists. She is dedicated to quality patient care and open dialogue. Her primary focus is minimally invasive Gyn surgery. The office’s open-door philosophy welcomes patients and their families to engage in optimum communication. She is on the active staff at North Fulton Hospital.
Dawnelle Steding, ANP-C, WHNP-BC
Dawnelle is a Florida native. She attended the University of South Florida and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. She later moved to Atlanta and studied at Emory University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Master’s of Science degree in nursing and was elected to Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She is board certified in adult and women’s health. Dawnelle’s longtime interest in exercise, nutrition, anti-aging, and aesthetics led her to join Medi-Weightloss Clinics® and A New You Medical Wellness Solutions.
