Manassas City Public Schools will hold public input on the FY 2008 Budget at the regularly scheduled School Board meeting on Tuesday, February 13, 2007. Interested citizens are invited to attend. Written comments regarding the FY 2008 Budget can be submitted to the Manassas City School Board. Please forward comments to:

PUBLIC NOTICE

The City of Manassas Public School Division notifies the general public that an up-to-date copy of the School Division's policy manuals are kept in the library of each school and in the Central Library located on Mathis Avenue and are available to employees and the public.

New Passwords Issued for ParentLink^®

If you haven't tried ParentLink, now's the time to see what you've been missing! Manassas City Public Schools is pleased to offer ParentLink for the third year. ParentLink is the interactive way for parents to stay informed regarding your student's grades, attendance and more. The information can be easily accessed by phone or over the internet.

All new passwords have been issued during the 2006-2007 school year. Even if you have been a ParentLink user in the past, you will need to complete a brand new registration form this year. The procedures for registering with ParentLink are simple:

	Visit your child's school to fill out a Parent Consent form.
	Present a photo ID to receive your log-in/password information. The same log-in and password can be used for each student you have in the division.
	Get ready to take your involvement to the next level!

Directions for accessing the ParentLink system will be included on your Account Information Letter. If you have additional questions, please email us at parentlink@manassas.k12.va.us.

The English as a Second Language (ESL) Advisory Committee is seeking members. The function of this committee is to study the ESL program and work, in an advisory capacity, with the designated administrator. Interested citizens please contact 703-257-8846.
